Aside from being an artist myself, I act as a liaison between artists/crafters and local Philly businesses such as coffee shops and bars. 

 

My goal is to support local artists by creating a way to help them find places to show their work to a broader audience in order to gain exposure and opportunities to sell their pieces. Charging a low, flat hanging fee, and not taking a percentage or commission if an artist sells work, allows the artist to set their own prices and hopefully profit more if something sells.

 

My role also provides a direct point of contact between the artist and business so busy managers and owners do not have to worry about answering questions and artists can get all of the information they need.

 

Businesses benefit by not having to do the legwork to find artists, set up events, make arrangements to hang the work, and they get free business promotion and exposure as well as local art donning their walls.
